As usual, DRP spout rubbish which the new code of practice should sort outCurlyben said:

DRP can be held at the same level of esteem as Gladstones.Nreid85 said:I'm not worried about Gladstone's, they're done and dusted as far as I know. I'm wondering about debt recovery plus, I'm unsure if I should ditch the letter or not.
Just another debt collector.
In these cases DRP are normally acting for someone else, normally the original issuer or often another DCA.
As PCN "debts" cannot be sold, like credit debt, they are urinating into inclement weather with their demands.
If they used thinner paper it might pass for intimate hygiene usage
DRP are BPA members and it is the BPA who say they are driving standards up ?
Why then are DRP members, just makes the BPA look stupid.

DRP letters are shown in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread (they don’t change much).
And as you are in Scotland nothing will happen, but you are going to get keeper liability next year for new events so things will change.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yeah I just wasn't sure if it had changed in Scotland anytime recently. A girl I work with parked every day in a nearby supermarket, got a ticket every day for months but she's never been hassled as far as I know. Just a bit odd they're pursuing 4 years later. Knowing it's an empty threat, they're chancing their arm and carries no weight at all helps. I work from home now anyway so we're all good. Thanks for the advice everyone!0

The claimant has 5 years to issue a claim through the sheriff courts in Scotland , using a solicitor ( probably a Scotland one ) under the simple procedures system , look it upNreid85 said:Yeah I just wasn't sure if it had changed in Scotland anytime recently. From summer next year Scotland will see a lot more enforcement with gnashing of teeth by fly parkers , a lot to learn for Scottish keepers and drivers1 -

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
