    If you are quick, and if Nationwide accept your application, you can switch for £100 or even £125 . There is a long thread about the Nationwide switch offer on this board. 
    Yes, I am aware of this I applied to Halifax, and got an account the switch will be completed on the 08/09/2021.

    Just had a text from Halifax to confirm this by the Halifax switching team.

    Shame you lost out on the Nationwide switch bonus. 



    Does the balance from NatWest get moved over by the switching system or will NatWest require me to fill out the fund form it sent in the post to transfer funds to another bank?

    Unless NatWest have actually blocked your account, you won't need to do anything. The CASS switch will move everything and closes your account (as I am sure you know).

    If NatWest has blocked your account, the switch won't be going ahead.
    NatWest account is working online banking app access and card is working, also had the text from Halifax about from the switch team.

    I sent CIFAS a request. 
  • Update: NatWest is looking at the appeal but the switch process has started to Halifax now.

    I have also manged to open an account with first direct.
