So clearly a £9k offer is not going to be laughed out of court.

BUT... if it's sat unsold for four months, the first question is why...

I wouldn't buy any car sight-unseen, but that applies double to one that's been lingering. What's put everybody else off it?

Thought I'd update you. The car drove well they offered me £9200 with a trade in of a Megan's 12 years old. I'm holding out until they can confirm in writing that the alloys will be refurbished, 2 new Rear break pads, and 2 rear tyres replacing there's a slight gouge in the sidewalls I wouldn't feel comfortable with driving with this. Also looking through the service history I've noticed the catalysts had a crack which was repaired under warranty, Im waiting to find out if it was repaired or replaced. The exhaust was also supposed to have been replaced  earlier this year, it didn't look like it to me. But with these already being replaced on a 18 car it's made me a bit skeptical. So I'm going to speak to my trusted mechanic later and get his views on it.
