The OP did not say it only arrived on day 2. Only that they thought it had to be done on day2. They did not aooear to relise it could be done at any time after arrival up to, and including, day 2.michael1234 said:
We don't know when the test arrived. My test last last week arrived on day 2 so would have been impossible to take prior.
There are two issues here:
1/ Whether or not the testing company provided the service requested. I think they did not as it was not possible to take on day 2 (assuming it arrived on day 2) and the company would have known that. Therefore they need to refund.
2/ When and whether the OP needs to take a test from any supplier. The answer is clearly yes but if I was him or her would seek advice from test and trace.
Nor we do when it was ordered. Was it ordered to allow time for it to arrive before day2/
Only when all the facts are known can you say he could be entitled to a refund,

A refund will depend on the T&Cs - many providers state that if you need the test for the weekend you shouldn’t order from them as they don’t collect on weekend , others provide a pre-paid label which you can use one of the 35,000 Royal Mail priority boxes that are collected from 7 days a week incl Bank Holidays; some say you need to arrange your own courier to return the tests and some providers have their own collection boxes which are available 7 days a week.OP hasn’t said which provider they chose or what the T&Cs were that they agreed to .0

That’s not true at all.onashoestring said:
The test will be void if it doesn’t reach the lab within 48 hours of taking the test so don’t take the test until just before you post it .Dr_Crypto said:You can take it and package it up and return it when the PO opens.0 -
From the Government website
