windows 10 not recgnising images

i am running windows10 version 20H2 OS build 19042.1165, mobile phone samsung a41
windows has stopped recognising photographs transfered from my camera to my pc all images are .jpg this seems to have happened after a recent windows update it says the files are corrupted yet when i do the same on a spare computer which has not been updated it works fine ,if i save the images from the spare computer to a usb stick and use it on the updated computer it works fine can any one help

Forgot to mention when trying with a digital camera it works fine on with phone there is aproblem
