WINDOWS 10 NOT RECOGNISING PHOTOGRAPHS FROM SAMUNG A41 MOBILE PHONE AFTER UPDATE
I am running windows10 version 20H2 OS build 19042.1165, mobile phone samsung A41
windows has
stopped recognising photographs transfered from my phones camera to my pc all images
are .jpg this seems to have happened after a recent windows update it says the
files are corrupted, all photographs on pc prior to update are ok also when trying with a digital camera everthing is
fine
I have tried to delete update but cannot the update The update is Servicing Stack10.0.19041.1161

Have you tried opening the images on another computer?Have you tried opening the images on the phone?What software are you using to open the images on the computer? Have you tried different software?1

Right-click on an image and open with Paint. Sounds like you're opening image files in the wrong program. The Servicing Stack thing is a red herring.

wongataai tried opening the images on another spare computer which had not been updated for a while and there was no problem however the computer updated itself and the problem was on the spare computer0

I have tried what you said and they now open,its very strange that in all the years i have downloaded photographs from my phone i have not had to do this ,but theyare downloaded nowthank you0

No real reason to download images directly from your phone.
