Wheres a good place to buy an iphone?
Options
Hi all,
Yesterday my iphone 6 SE completely broke. The engineer tried all the obvious things (changing battery etc). He said its probably not economically viable to fix it.
So, Im in the market for a new phone!
I dont need a super snazzy phone, but I would like an iPhone with a slightly bigger screensize. I want to stay on my EE contract (currently paying £8pm).
I was think of just getting a refurbished phone, with a warrantee or something.
Are there any websites you recommend? Is an iphone 7 a good one for me? Is there anything else I should bare in mind? For example, perhaps Id be better buying a new phone with EE?
Thanks

I particularly like the customer reviews on the John Lewis website as they’re frank but fair. Helps when deciding what it is you’re looking for. (That’s where I bought my last iPhone).
would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .

There's definitely no 'a' in 'definitely'.1 -
If you want a refurbished iPhone 7 then you could look at Music Magpie as you would at least get some sort of a warranty.
It's a big leap price wise to a new iPhone but there is no need to go to EE, any decent retailer would do but John Lewis offer a 2 year warranty.0 -
I've had lots of success buying second-hand from individuals on eBay. If you read the adverts and the feedback carefully you can usually spot the genuine sellers, who are usually selling their own current phone because they want the latest and greatest iPhone. You don't get a warranty, but you don't need it if the phone and the seller are honest.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1 -
Have a look at AV Classifieds, you could also post up a 'wanted' ad with what you're looking for and what your budget is:
