POPLA Appeal lost Parking Eye

Hi,
Lost an appeal for Parking eye at POPLA stage for a 13 min overstay in a free car park. I have tried to get it cancelled many times by the landowner but to no avail. Issue is I didn't get any emails from Popla during the appeals stage and so I had assumed I was successful (I know silly). This morning I woke up trying to remember the outcome but couldn't, tracked down my login details and turns out I was unsuccessful - but this was in Jan 2020 I am now really worried it may have gone to court as I have since moved address. Is there anyway for me to find out if it has gone to court - other than checking credit score and what should the next steps be? I would prefer to just get this sorted and pay as I know my options are limited know anyway and I am in the midst of buying a house and don't want this to impact anything. Thank you so much for all your help.

Submit two things to the PPC: -
1) SAR to the DPO asking for all the data pertaining to you and your car with VRM AB!23CDE (replacing that generic VRM with your own).
2) Data Rectification Notice to the DPO requiring them to change your address for service, inform all their agents and sub-contractors and ERASE all your old data.2 -
Thank you so much for your reply, is there any fairly quick way I can find out whether a court process has been kicked off other than submitting the above?0

PE's signs are pants, read this and complain to your MP.

Court cases are kicked off on MCOL using the website , but usually a trace is done first , so check your credit rating etc with the top providers1

thanks so much, so is there a way I can check on MCOL as to whether anything has been registered against the driver?
in addition, is there a particular trace company I should look out for on credit rating?
Would you advise getting in touch with Parking Eye now to pay the ticket or should I so something else first?0 -
1) I doubt it without a court claim referenceONEONEONE said:thanks so much,

2) probably , so wait for my recommendations
3) it I rare for us to recommend payment , but it's your decision , not ours , you may decide to let a judge decide in court , especially due to it being about grace periods1 -
thanks for your advice, will let you know if I see anything to report on the credit report. Would it be worth asking parking eye direct if court proceedings have started?0

If they have , your SAR will reveal it0

I don't think it's a good idea to prod a sleeping dog with a stick.ONEONEONE said:thanks for your advice, will let you know if I see anything to report on the credit report. Would it be worth asking parking eye direct if court proceedings have started?
Why not ring the CCBC and ask them if they have a Claim with you as the named Defendant.
Google will easily find the number.2 -
Thanks so much, should I call the court where the ticket was issued or where the car is registered?KeithP said:
