They send emails with info, but these can rarely be replied to.
Usually you have to use a useless 'bot', tedious online chat or phone.
The only way I got to communicate with Vodafone by email was when I made an official complaint - when they open up a 'complaints portal'.0 -
Phone support: I prefer to get things down in writing as a record. I do not wish to go through endless security checks. Some people (my partner) are hard of hearing. However, mainly, I simply prefer to communicate by email and it would be nice, as a customer, to have the option... I am changing provider and this will be an important factor.0

You would hope there would be even more security checks via email. Spofing and address you like is not exactly hard. (A closed support system on the website and not email would be better and not need security).

If the spoofer forges the email address of the subscriber to ask for support by email, the subscriber will get the reply so it won't do the spoofer much good.Carrot007 said:Mark_t said:Phone support: I prefer to get things down in writing as a record. I use A&A who do support by email, phone and even IRC. Only time I've had to phone them is when the broadband went down, which was due to a line fault caused by a bloke with a digger.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

All of my BT communications have been via Email as they have been for every other ISP over the years .Only phone contact is to renegotiate renewal and that does not include endless security checks ever .0
