I don't, it's just something I do on a weekly basis

I've tried connecting to different servers, UK, USA, etc., etc. still get error code 9

Have you done step 4 on the link you provided, disable then re-enable the virtual network adaptor?

Hi, thanks, I'm not very good with technology, however, I think I've followed step 4 instructions, but don't see "enable" option

You have to select Disable first. Once done then the option changes to Enable.  

And make sure you're doing this on the correct adapter. (Not that there's any real harm if you pick the wrong one - if you Disable it then simply Enable it again).

Jenni, it makes no difference, I've disabled one, enabled the other, still getting the red x on the one I've enabled, followed your instructions ob both, still get the red x
