Can I quit my contract??

Hi, I have a contract phone, 18 months with O2, £30 a month, and i really can't afford it now. Can i get out of this contract now i am in it?? It's a cashback contract too if that makes a difference. If i can get out of it do i give up the phone too or can i just change the sim? I know nothing about phones :o

I make about 2 hours worth of phonecalls a month, plus texting a bit but not massively. It's worth me going pay as you go isn't it?

No, you can't quite your contract. You may be able to downgrade, but not for a long time yet.

    Sorry x

  • If you have a high value phone you can sell it and buy a cheaper phone and use the money to help pay your contract for a few months.

  • hi dimond, how did you manage to get that sort of deal, can you please email me if possible, and what do you have to say to orange to get this sort of deal, because i am also looking for one or two contract soon, thanks in advanced, i will appriciate for your time and help in this matter, thanks once again.
  • If you got your contract before they started charging for the 08xx numbers, you could always try your luck at cancelling because of that? I cancelled mine last month due to this; even though I never used them
