my iphone 5 is on it's way out! the screen is blurry. I would like to upgrade by buying a replacement phone outright. I would like to spend £150 to £200 on buying a newer one. Any recommendations where I can purchase one and put my exsisting sim in
thanks

I think the first thing you need to think about is what brand do you want? Another apple is out of the question on your budget so maybe look at some phone shops and go in and try some out? Not sure what you will get though for £200 unless you look at refurbished ones.
Personally I wouldn’t go away from Apple as I love the way that everything is linked with my iPad and MacBook but others hate them.

Thanks, since posting I had a quick look on Amazon and there was an iphone 8 fo £190 with 64gb. It comes with a year warranty too. I would like to stick to an iphone because I'm used to it, I facetime my Grandson on his Mum's phone. I am on a sim only with EE at £12.50 with more than enough allowance for my needs.
    Thanks again.
  • I suggest you can buy Iphone 7 or 8 refurbished from any online retailer. Look out amazon I'm sure you will get something under your budget.

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Mobile Phones’ board, where it is better suited.

    Regards
