I recall that it's in a thread linked from the NEWBIES.Jenni x1

It's in the first post on the template defence thread.4

Found it. I have followed all the points. Just waiting for the DQ from the Courts, if it gets that far.1

Well I tried the 'dropped hands' approach to the legal firm of vehicle control services. Heard nothing.
Today I got an N149A notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track. Included is the non binding option to go to mediation.
Is this route worth it, or is it best to go for the hearing? I realise it is my choice, just asking for people's personal experiences.0 -

I believe the consensus here is that mediation is 'pants'. It does not achieve anything, over than waste your time or they 'bully' you into a response that you don't want.

Please just search this board for mediation and you'll see what we think of it. (Clue: are you minded to pay them anything? If not then mediation is pointless)

I get the drift. I have tried the 'hands down' offer, that they have not responded to, and I can say that at the hearing. Surprised the form is not available to complete online, or maybe it is...0

You can't mention without prejudice offers at the hearing. And all court forms are online.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The N149A suggests, rather forcefully, that you complete the N180 Directions Questionnaire.neilsims said:Surprised the form is not available to complete online, or maybe it is...
For guidance with that please re-read my post of 19 October at 2:03PM - especially the last sentence.

N180 completed and guidance followed. Sent to the court and to the lagal firm representing the claimant. From what I hear, 6 months wait would not be unusual before a hearing date.1
