Postponing Easyjet flights

Options
Like most people, we've had our original Easyjet flights cancelled about 3 times, starting March 2020.  We were finally going to go to France in October but with increased deaths from Coronovirus and daily protests, we just don't want to take the risk.  We received an email a few weeks ago from Easyjet saying we could still postpone our flights but I didn't open it until today.  However now we've decided to change the dates and book for spring next year when it's safter, we see it states that we have to use them by January 2022 which doesn't seem fair as the virus will probably be worse in winter and we don't particularly want to take a Winter Break anywhere.
Thanks for any help.

there does not appear to be January 2022 mentioned on their site....is this because they have not released flights passed this date yet?
"we are currently waiving our flight change fee for changes made up to 2 hours before departure. Applies to changes made between the 28 April to the 30 September 2021, to any flights currently on sale in our schedule and to any destination"

    We've moved our flights 5 (?) times
Just change them to as far away as possible then when the next round of flights are released, move them again.

Glad to see that your crystal ball says it will be worse in the winter then OK in the spring! ;)

Surely that would only work for as long as easyjet keep the current policy. 🤔

Apologies to Easyjet!  I misread their email.  It was only the free £20 voucher for snack etc they were giving out which expired in January.  They have allowed us to move the flight to June 2022 so all good.    Thanks for all the help.
