UKCPM County Court Claim HELP

Hi all,

Last Saturday (14th August) I have received a Court claimed form that was issued by UK Car Park Management. Do you know when I have to fill Acknowledgment of Service?

Do I have until 28th August at 4pm to fill a
cknowledgment of service?

If I have 14 days to fill acknowledgment of service, I would like to make a Defence asap to stop any stress or anxiety.

And there is another problem. I don't have any paperwork especially the notice to keeper letters as I have returned them back to sender as I don't want to have any contract with them.

Do you know what I need to do?

Thanks in advance.

You have told us that you received the Claim Form on 14th August, but what is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?

The back of your Claim Form tells you:

    It goes on to say:

You've been through this court claim business before - in early 2020.

Did you not learn the process at that time? Particularly where to find good guidance?

Refresh your memory. Have a look at the first reply you received on that thread.

Is it time yet for you to update that thread with the outcome of the court case?

Do I have until 26th August at 4pm to fill acknowledgment of service?

I went through the court claim business before in early 2020 but that is a different company.

I'm still waiting to go to court and I have heard nothing of the outcome of the court case.

With a Claim Issue Date of 12th August, you have until Tuesday 31st August to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 14th September 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Thanks, if I fill AOS tomorrow, do I still have 3 weeks away to create a defence?

I want to create a defence to do it early to put my mind at rest before I will do the witness statement.

I really hope you have also done (or are about to do, before it closes within days) the Government Consultation by email and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.

You have 6 days to do the consultation.  Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence.  Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!

Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?).  Gotta be in it to win it!  Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.

Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks I will do that. I am going to start to do file a defence 3 weeks early. I know it is too early but I want to do it early better than later and I don't want to put myself anymore stress or anxiety if I leave it to later. I have got so many other jobs to do so I don't have much time.

No, I haven't registered for the Group Action against DVLA but I am going to do now. I have heard that I could sue DVLA for breach data protection act and if I win I could get compensation over £1k, is that true?
