Some sites struggle if you're using af-blocking software. I use Ghostery and sometimes can't log in to various sites. Once I tell Ghostery to trust the site, it works fine.

Thanks, Colin.  I have no blockers running. It was working fine, and then from the last week in July it just stopped working and hasn't worked since.

Well I'm stumped.
I've just logged in multiple browsers (Opera Vivaldi etc.) on both Linux and Windows without a problem.
All I can think is maybe an internet problem, DNS or ISP filtering, something like that.

What happens if you use the built in VPN in Opera and try to log in?


Edit:
Missed the bit about a 500 response. Weird as that's essentially a server error of some kind and nothing to do with you at all.  Now I really am stumped.

Thanks, kaMelo.  Yep, tried the connection on multiple networks, VPN as well, but no joy.  
There is mention on MSE of this error in 2020, and I have seen the error temporarily in the past - but now for me it is 100% of the time!
I have logged a support call about this, since it looks to me like a server side problem ...

Sky had a massive problem that caused problems with many banks and other websites so it was probably that.

I tried logging into Barclaycard yesterday and low and behold it worked!! Hope it continues that way!

You're lucky.  I've now been denied login to my account online for a month.  
I was supposed to get a call back about the problem, but his has not happened.  I know it's not my end because the customer service agent confirmed the same error when trying my User ID!

After a month of not being able to login I gave up and closed my Barclaycard account.  
I'd been a customer for 10 years since Egg was taken over by Barclaycard.
