Thank youPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The GDPr breach cold be difficult, however ive found that when dealing with committees ( ie if you imagine village hall vicar of Dibley type committees) the one thing they are spooked by is "will we be liable"Does your neighbour know you know? From the Plain Language Commission:

Thanks everyone. To try and answer all in one brief post. Yes they know we know. They are blatant about it and in my belief are using this to force residents off land used for over 47 years.
I did try the registration of self ticketers route. BPA said that they were, and PoPLA were their usual selves. I have a low opinion of them.
Half-way is bang on the money .Parish Council are spooked by ideas of liability. One of the self-ticketers being a solicitor makes it worse from that point of viewThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3 -
If you are up for confrontation, ask the self-ticketer to show her/his proof of BPA membership. Bodycam/'phone recording (with suitable warning if the law requires).
Ask to see their CCTV code of practice compliance sir-sticky-foot, and warn them that they may be breaking the law if they don't have one.
Her/his taking of images breaches the Surveillance Camera CoP because camera filming for parking charges can’t be covert and signs must state how the images will be used.
