HSBC & First Direct app down

Some undoubtedly do, but some people also use 'direct debit' and 'standing order' interchangeably, and 'saving' and 'investing', and 'self-employed' and 'sole director/employee of limited company', etc, etc, and it doesn't make any of them right!surreysaver said:I think people use the terms wi-fi and internet interchangeably2 -
Just the other week that colsten and the gang were writing how silly it was to not use the digital key because "never had a problem with the app". mega lols.

There was nothing wrong with the digital secure key today, either. Nor was there a problem with the banking apps or online banking. The issue was caused by the ISP, and wasn‘t limited to banks.janeskips2 said:Just the other week that colsten and the gang were writing how silly it was to not use the digital key because "never had a problem with the app". mega lols.3 -
The HSBC app and internet banking does appear to be down right now though.
Anybody else experiencing the same?0 -
@Speedbird676 yes, "Error, something went wrong, please try again later" in a loop

I didn’t try using the secure key part of the app but it probably worked fine. If this is what causes ‘mega lols’ you wait until you find out about comedy; it’ll blow your mind.janeskips2 said:Just the other week that colsten and the gang were writing how silly it was to not use the digital key because "never had a problem with the app". mega lols.1 -
HSBC UK made a post on their Facebook page about 40 minutes ago (1:20 pm) to say:
“Our Online & Mobile Banking services are currently unavailable. We're really sorry and are working hard to fix this. Please check back here for the latest updates.”
I have just checked the HSBC app on my iPhone and managed to log on, at the second attempt, and download my latest credit card statement.0
