BT Home Essentials deal & Digital Voice Free Phone

Think I hit the jackpot. As on a qualifying benefit got BT's Home Essentials package - £20/mth apx 50meg download fibre broadband, unlimited calls to landlines/mobile for a year. Plus got new Smart hub 2 & new Digital Voice landline phone (incl Built in Alexa). Only have FTTC but still available to me. Old 'indoor' phone can be plugged direct into Smart Hub 2 & as my old phone is Dect & has 2 other home phones coming from it they still work! Now got in total 4 indoor phones on one digital line. Ok only 1 is 'hd' quality but works for me.
Point of my post is to let people know offer available & old phones can still work. Yes am aware no analogue phone not able to make call in emergency if no broadband but have a mobile so all is ok.

How did you get the landline phone? - There is no mention of that on the BT Home Essentials website.

    Thanks in advance

I also signed up for the BT Home Essentials.  £15 @ month I get up to 35meg and upto 9 meg download.  You also get a free digital phone to contact to your router.   My proper download speed is around about 32meg and upload speed is about 8meg.   I was on the old BT Basic which was the same price £15.

    This is so much better.
