Premier Park - Parking Charge Notice

No worries. You are right, common sense doesn't make a profit for them and checking the PDT also makes no money. Let's see what they tell a judge when he asks them why they cannot produce evidence from the PDT in his court.Barhar said:
apologies I didn't mean to seem abrupt, I totally agree, common sense should prevail it clear and obvious but I suppose greed gets in the way! Plus they told me there was no way to check the data from the machine absolute nonsense.Le_Kirk said:
I am on your side! My point is that you were captured by an ANPR camera. As you drive into the car park it spots your registration plate and takes a photo of your VRM. If it knows your VRM at this point, why does the PDT not synchronise with the ANPR camera and say "Oops there is no car in the car park with that VRM please try again!" Failure of equipment NOT failure of the person parking the car or buying the ticket!Barhar said:
Not even going down that path, they will argue that some VRN's are short some as little as 2 digits!Le_Kirk said:Why did the PDT accept a partial VRM? It is a failure of the PPC's equipment no failing on your part!2 -
I would do that, then tell the Government in this weeks final few days to do the Consultation, what you think and how it should be a free cancellation, which IS what the Government is now proposing. Back that idea up and tell them they are right with the Appeals Charter in that respect, but not the way they have saiud it can be 'at the discretion' of the PPC!Barhar said:Thanks, realistically what are my chances of winning? might have to bite the bullet and pay the £20.
Please tell us you know about these two threads and have done both required urgent tasks?
I really hope you have done (or will now do) the Government Consultation and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.
You have only 5 days to do the consultation. Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence. Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!
Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?). Gotta be in it to win it! Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.
Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
