Thank you all for your help!Wait: against all advice, you missed attending your hearing and let the Claimant have the floor? That was extremely risky.

I booked a holiday after the form where you provide availability and it happened to fall on a date during the 2 weeks I was away.Coupon-mad said:cameron93 said:Just posting as I received this letter this morning.

I could have changed the date at a cost of ~£100 but opted not to.0 -
Flipping heck - congrats - you should buy a lottery ticket because this was likely to be lost by you doing that.

So I've got an update since I received another letter this morning...
The court decision just made (dismissed) was for 2 tickets issued on date:
16/01/2019, 06/05/2019
Almost immediately after that dcblegal have sent out a letter to me explaining that if I don't pay for a ticket from UKPC from 26/11/2017 then it's likely another claim will be made against me.
I was issued a total of 8 tickets over 3 years with UKPC, could they not just claim for each one individually? Shouldn't they have just filed all these at once?
Will I have to fight this just as the previous - if so, would I be expected to fight up to 4 more claims... ??
Thanks once again,
Cameron

FYI all tickets are for the same location (Uni campus) albeit different areas but with the same signage and markings.0

Cause of action estoppel ... they should bring their entire claim rather than doing it piecemeal and using the courts as a form of debt collection.
I'm sure others will be along shortly with advice on how best to use this.

Ok. Do you know how this would be communicated to the court? Same process as before all the way up to hearing?0

Is it a proper letter of/before claim giving you 30 days to respond or is it a glorified debt collector letter? If it is a proper LOC, expect a claim form from Northampton CCBC to follow, then, since you have been here before you know what to do, except your defence will say, as kindly pointed out by @Jenni_D, your main thrust is cause of action estoppel, look up Henderson V Hendersoncameron93 said:Almost immediately after that dcblegal have sent out a letter to me explaining that if I don't pay for a ticket from UKPC from 26/11/2017 then it's likely another claim will be made against me.

That is a LOC so wait for the N1 form and proceed from there.1
