Thanks LMD and Sunshine Raincloud.  Paying off the loan has definitely given me a boost!  Im now super focussed on clearing this credit card debt once and for all!

Not alot to report today other than I have completed a flurry of surveys on Prolific after what seems like an age!  Managed to cashout £9.75 and have split 75p to sealed pot and £9 to my PAD pot which Im building up to make a good overpayment on one of the CC's. Currently have £27 in the pot which has been bolstered by a change of half working day to tomorrow (normally today) which would usually have seen me travel into work, so travel costs potted.  I have £2.55 in Attapol and around 70p in CC. Every little helps!

    Thats about all for now.

    Morning

Not alot to report today, but noticed my signature has changed in respect of all the extra lines?  Ive gone in to edit but when I do it looks like it always did?

My mums 89th birthday today so will be off to see her  in the nursing home, they are putting together a cake for her and she had her hair done yesterday and nails painted too which makes her look so much better.  Since she has been in the home she hasnt really had her hair styled and looking at how she is now, is much more like looking at my mum  Need to fill up with fuel again as will be going to see her Friday and most likely Sunday.

Nothing much in the way of a cash out yet from Prolific have £1.05 cleared and £13.22 pending.  Just transferred Save the change of £2.47 split £2 to PAD pot and 47p to my sealed pot.

    Thats about all for today.

  • I may have skimmed through some bits!  :D  Yes definitely, I have just set up some saving spaces on my bank account app and now have an emergency fund pot, holiday pot, and school uniform/trips pot.  I also checked out the challenges and I like the one where you round down you balance.  I think I'll start out doing that weekly and see how I go. I'm basically finding ways to save money rather than spend it for once!!x

  • @Shell16 don't even get me started on the blummin' signatures... I have spent FAR too much time trying to rectify mine and even when it looks different on the edit section it still has all the extra space between lines.  I don't know what they do, but if it's not the format going awry it's the data setting itself back to May 2022 so the figures are out.  I'm not a techie person so I don't have a clue, it's just a bit irksome :D

Happy birthday to your lovely mum, it's nice that they have arranged hair and nails for her to look pretty :)

Morning All, not updated in a week or so.  Still very busy with multiple trips seeing mum, think at this time of year its more important that I do that.  Its going to be very hard at Christmas this year not spending the day with mum (We had already agreed to go to hubbys sons for Christmas this year as we both had covid last year and didnt go).

Managed to do something with signature, had to restart again, looks ok on desktop but makes no sense on mobile

With regards to debt, loan finished this month so apart from usual payments coming up for all 3 CC's and prolific cashouts etc will be no further payments made.  Sainsburys payment has come out already and my Virgin and Lloyds payments come out Monday so will see balance drop to £3233 with those regular Direct debits.

I have decided this year for Christmas to use £100 out of what would have been my usual loan payment to go to Stockeld Park Illuminate which includes ice skating for the girls.  I just thought why not, I havent splurged on anything else in view of being focussed and it will be a lovely few hours for us all to get us in the mood for the big day!  The girls are too big for santa now, and I know it will be a cold but yet a fantastic treat for us all which we will all love, cant wait!

Im now adding my cashouts to a PAD pot, letting it build up and then making a lump payment to one of the cards.  Paid £50 to Sainsburys last month doing this so will likely send to Virgin this month. I have now cleared £635 on Prolific which is an average of £1.11 per survey which is fantastic!  Havent done very much with CC's surveys in all honesty, need to keep on top of that  one.  I also downloaded Topcashback and have £43 in there waiting to be cleared, with around another £10 in missing cashback where I have submitted claims.

Its mega busy at work at the minute, where everyone is sending things in early due to closing Christmas and New year, so need to get off here and try and start doing something before the phone starts going!
