    Morning

PADS made today of £2.86 to Lloyds CC and £55 to Sainsburys CC, taking total paid from debt just over £8000 since my LBM in August 2021.  Usual Payments to Virgin and Lloyds will be made during first week of July including my new payment to Lloyds to keep me on track to clear sooner than originally planned (now just £1.50 short of new payment).  Lloyds CC isnt interest free but on a low 3.9% until 2024.

My side hustle is proving lucrative and I'm currently standing at around £170 in profit.  Will carry this on for the time being but this is only temporary and not a long term thing!

Been super busy with work, internet connection was shocking yesterday at home, but my guaranteed speed checker reckons nothing was wrong....Hoping today will be better, so far so good.  Half day working today, but meeting at 11 on teams which I can do without for no doubt an hour or so! Can see me working beyond my finish time today!

    That's about all for now.

If you feel that your connection speed isn't where it should be it  may be best to check it using a 3rd party checker NOT the one your provider points to. When we were debating about leaving Sky a few years ago I checked using their own checker and it showed a speed roughly twice what two different third party ones came up with - funny, that!

Hope you manage to get the clutch sorted OK and at not too huge a cost. I hesitate to say but a clutch replacement is something I've never had to have in any of my cars yet - even the last one which did 150,000 miles in 12 years which I was surprised about. I aim to continue this unblemished record for as long as possible - but have probably tempted fate by mentioning it now!

Fingers crossed @EssexHebridean that you have indeed not tempted fate!  On the clutch front we are hoping its not going to be more than £300, so I have around £145 in maintenance and rest would have to come out of EF, so nothing on credit which is plus!

Made PAD today of £2.89 which is a save the change payment to Lloyds CC.  Have fully funded new Lloyds payment now and have a small overpayment too, which is all good as these other small overpayments will add up and again may take a further month off that DFD.

Thanks @LittleMissDetermined for the spreadsheet you sent me.  That looks just up my street and if I do not have my budget book to hand will come in useful when im logged on working and I can keep a check.

Volunteered to be counter upper on payment A Day Thread for July but I am away from 23rd July for 2 weeks so would need someone to take over for the last week.

Regards side hustle im still on with this and hope to break £200 shortly in next few days.  This will all be paid as a lump sum towards debt.

Prolific has £4.70 cleared and £3.74 pending so im hoping to get at least £5 cashed out today if some kind university person would just clear another for me!

Also I still have £11 in my virtual pot when I saved the travel last week into work, again will ensure this goes towards debt too.

    Thats about all for now

back again as Im on my last day of my weekly budget.  I still have around £45 left in my grocery budget this week although we are running low on some bits so will have to go to A*di later for essentials, bread, milk, packed lunch meats etc.  I did mention that I still needed to be very careful during this pay period in view of hitting my overdraft last month to the tune of £350! :anguished:

    Morning

Thank goodness its Friday!  Its been one of those weeks already, some testing times had!

I have made another PAD today of £1.52 coming from save the change and paid towards Lloyds CC.  Expensive day with Bills too as its the first of the month and £1017 has left my account, its going to be very tight for the remainder of my paycheck month.  Cash Budgets also reset today for Grocery and Fuel.  Had a good week last week only spending £55 out of £100 for grocery but I am now in desperate need of a shop to top up everything!  I will need to go to cashpoint and withdraw the cash in my lunch today and will take out £100 and the £45 I have left can roll on to my Fuel spend for the car.

With regards the clutch, it looks like this will be around £200, Hubby is a mechanic but its a big job and he was hoping a work colleague could help out and unfortunately they have covid so thats put paid to that.  Hoping will be sorted today, I have £145 in vehicle maintenance and rest will need to come from EF.

    Thats about all for now.

    Morning

A few days since I last updated.  Clutch sorted thank goodness (£190) but took Hubby 6 hours to fit and came home at nearly midnight on Friday.  He was exhausted and not being as young as he used to be was aching terribly!  We didnt really have anything planned for the weekend in order for him to recuperate and recharge, however we decided late Saturday afternoon to go and watch the new TopGun film on Saturday as we didnt have the girls.  Was really good BUT not as good as the first.  came out of family fun pot and have to fess up we went to the Ev**ym*an cinema with sofas.....So comfy but more spend!

I have been making regular PAD's over the weekend, yesterday and Today.  My Lloyds CC direct debit comes out tomorrow and along with my usual payment and overpayments totals upto £215.03.  Wanted min payment of £183 to stay on track to becoming debt free early so Im well over that now thanks to Prolific cashouts and save the change from bank.

Ive now finished my side hustle and have £201.94 profit which Im really happy about.  I will definitely use half towards Debt and possibly half towards EF or spends towards my holiday in just over a couple of weeks time.  Im undecided......

    Thats about all for now

Ah forgot to mention I had an email confirming my credit score had gone up 12 points to 649 out of 710.  This was due to the new accounts I opened for Starling and Sainsburys falling off my record from last year.  Huge motivation that Im still going in the right direction even though life throws those curve balls in your path to try and derail progress.

Been using my Budget tracker which @LittleMissDetermined sent to me.  Its wonderful and I have adapted to my needs, im really rubbish with anything techy, so having this template really worked as I havent a clue how to put calculations in  !  As im now a weekly budgeter it helps by completing this for a month overview to make sure my money works for me before trying to split into weeks and also hopefully seeing an available amount at the end.

So glad you are finding it useful! I love a good excel spreadsheet, and mine is an expanded version of the template I sent you. It's the first thing I do when I sit down in the office :)

You're doing exceptionally well on the debt repayment in such a short amount of time, it's amazing!  Also I am very impressed with your Prolific payouts... I'm new to it as you know, but already have had some payments.
