Car hire excess insurance in UK for Spanish resident

I'm trying to find a policy that will cover a Spanish resident visiting the UK.  Anyone know of any that work?

Did you find a good company? My wife is not from the UK also and the only option I found was to put her as a named driver on a policy taken out by me.
