Travel Cash from ATM France

Options
For years I have withdrawn euros from  a Credit Agricole ATM in France for no fee and getting an excellent rate of exchange using a Barclaycard Travel Credit Card. This week I tried to withdraw 200 euros and received a screen message stating that I would be charged 5 euros for the transaction. Are other French banks making similar charges following our withdrawal from the EU?

    Welcome to the forum.

Try the other banks' ATMs, and it will be useful if you post the results.

Banks began charging for withdrawals using foreign cards even before Brexit, particularly in Spain. Also within Asian and other countries. If the French banks have now started this there may well be some that have not, yet...
