Problem with beelivery and inadequate refund - what can I do?

I'm not sure where your consumer rights lie OP as it's a question of who you have a contract with for the goods, whether terms may be fair and what durable information you were given.
Looking at beelivery it does appear to be a bit of poor idea as the service will vary considerably depending upon the driver and beelivery appear to effectively claim what actually happens is nothing to do with them as they are only providing you with software to put two people together.

They might do a chargeback (very much doubt it though), but that would require the items to be returned to the retailer. But you would also have to prove what you ordered against what you recieved.
No S75 as none of the items are over £100.Life in the slow lane0 -

It seems hard to believe that any shop would stock both of each item given how small the weight difference is?
So is this a substitution problem at all or more an issue with the information on a website?
Are you really saying that, had you been in the shop, you would have noticed and agonised over the difference between a 400g jar of spread and a 380g one?
Errors happen, for example "subsituted" (sic) is spelt wrongly six times in your original post!
As I have said several times, the biscoff spread and haribo bag would have been acceptable substitutions. However, in the context of over half my shop having been substituted and vast majority of the shop being substituted for smaller packaging, it is a little disingenious. You have picked these two products but as you can see from the others, some of them are nearly 50% smaller than what I ordered. For some products to be changed this would be okay and understandable but downgrading almost all substitutions without reflecting this in the price I pay is not okay.
Again, I apologise if I am spelling something to a standard of English you are not happy with. I hope this doesn't upset you too much. I know how difficult it is for some people to accept the diversity now in this country and I know a lot of people on this forum do not like us foreigners being here. I did not mean to upset you with this nor did I intend for it to be relevant to this post.
You used the word "substituted" (from memory) ten times. Four times spelt correctly and six time spelt wrongly.
Does it matter? No, hardly at all. A bit like the difference between 380g and 400g!
Yes, in other cases the difference was more significant but what was the alternative? Bring you none of the item and, presumably, a refund of the price? Where would you have drawn the line? 5% smaller OK for most people? 50% smaller not OK for most people? What about in between? No two customers would agree.

So the substituted items are worth £19.50 and you paid £25. A difference of £5.50.
You have already had a £3 refund so are in theory due £2.50.
The substitutions are hardly disastrous. Just slightly smaller portions for one meal...
And as the substitution cost comes from the driver's pocket, then they are hardly going to select something more expensive are they?!?
Put it down to experience and move on. Just don't use them again.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)2 -

It's been stated before by a respected poster that for the limits to apply they have to be communicated to the consumer via durable means, if that didn't occur there may be a right to cancel the other items.
In addition if the OP hasn't been provided with the correct information regarding cancelling the contract they can return the goods in any condition without deduction.
As above it very much depends on the durable information provided and as Beelivery appear to only provide the link between two people is it down to the driver to give this info to the consumer as their website doesn't mention the right to cancel or returns (that I could see)?

They don't have a shop. Their drivers do a shop in whichever grocery store they decide and then deliver to you.
How do you know what the items will cost if they chose where to buy them?
The supermarkets in my town are showing empty shelves of everyday items this week Even the Pets at Home store had spaces on shelves.
Delivery problems have been reported in the press.

You are not supposed to notice the size going down, from manufacture -- clearly the website the OP is looking at has the original sizes, the shop is stocking the newer shrinky packs.
