Small Claims Court

  • I’ve now received a new letter before claim in the form of an email sent at 2am this morning
He is now suggesting that I have only paid him his day's money to avoid him taking it further (well of course this is obvious isn’t it?) and that it was without his agreement. He is now asking for litigant in person costs to the tune of £19 per hour for 11 hours of preparing his case and corresponding with us about his incorrect pay.
He wants this paid within 7 days. He obviously realises that I will not be paying him £1000 he previously asked for and so is changing tactic
I just feel inclined to ignore this man now. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Personally I would call his bluff and email back 'see you in court' I would not think he has the slightest chance of winning.
