I wish you "of your own making" guys luck, you'll need it one day. I got the result I wanted by sticking to my guns. Go read the Consumer Rights Act and the sections on what invalidates an agreed contract. Signing off ...

The results you wanted but definately not the results you needed.

I'll stick with plusnet thanks. Now in my 7th year. Shopuld you run from any company, especially when it was not in their control like this you will end up with no companies to use.

But us "of your own making" guys wouldn't have made that blunder in the first place hence no need to "go and read" anything. Surprised you can't see that.

Even if you got PN to waive any ‘fees’ , I very much doubt they paid your ‘invoice’, it’s irrelevant now, but the chances are that if you used Sky initially, you would have had the same period of time without service, and if you had similarly simply told Sky to ‘do one’ and joined PN, then you would be currently ‘enjoying’ your PN service and posting negatively about Sky and their demands for ETC’s etc, ….although it’s ‘nice’ when an individual gets what they want in the face of a faceless corporation, your tale is hardly one that demands  support from others
