Mobility car damaged while being serviced

Hi I took my husbands mobility car this morning for a service. Got a phone call around two saying it was ready for collection and she mentioned that the bonnet was catching on a window pillar and said I should already be aware of this I said no. So she said some one would show me when I arrived.
I went to collect and the way the car was parked I couldn't even get to the front of the car to open the bonnet and no one showed me.
I checked when i got back and it's split the plastic and paint has come off. My husband rung the garage and said it wasnt like this yesterday so it must have happened there. The manager said the lady working on my car come running to him saying the bonnet was hitting the air filter and told my husband to bring the down. Husband went down garage are refusing to admit its there fault.
I spoke to mobility they said to contuine with the car it's was due to be replaced 2 months ago and just hand over as normal and it won't affect the good condition bonus which he said is now £600.
I am just really annoyed from it all.
I got spoke to like rubbish this morning dropping the car probably because its a mobility car.
The new car is coming from the same garage will I have to go back for servicing again there or can I go to a different garage some where else.

When my current car went in for it's first service last year they forgot to reset the service light. I rang the garage and the person i spoke to said they were very sorry this has happened. She told me she would send someone to my house to reset it for me and would i be home the following morning. just before 10am the next day a knock came to the door and it was someone from the garage... 30 seconds later, job done. When you return your current car, it's unlikely you will be penalised for such a small thing. When i returned my first car there was some obvious scratches on the alloys and a couple of other scrathes around the door handles.... made no difference at all and within 7 working days i received my good condition bonus of £600.Just change garages and move on...1

Garages can be known to treat private and motability customers differently. A couple took delivery of two Toyota vehicles from the same dealership a matter of weeks apart. One was a private purchase, the car was under wraps in the show room, a bit of razzmatazz and the car presented to them with a bunch of flowers. The other, a motability lease a few weeks later, the car was out in the compound and they were simply handed the keys. On going in for their first checks, the private purchase was washed and vacuumed, the mobility vehicle was returned as was plus the addition of tree sap and bird droppings on the roof and bonnet.
I myself encountered a dealership mobility salesman scorning another motabilty customer who had the audacity of purchasing an Audi Q5 on the Motability scheme, and why should that be subsidised by the tax payer. Whilst unfortunately he and the rest of the Daily Mail brigade got their way and managed to succeed in capping the vehicle price ie. no more Audi Q5's etc, fortunately this particular individual is no longer employed by the said dealership.0 -

No idea if they were before this.0

The mobility car is for my husband but I am the one who always takes the car in for services and I always clean the car before I take it in. Inside and out maybe I shouldn't waste my time and see if they do the same job as I would have.
Last year when I took the car in I was just constantly reminded to give a good review on feedback email I will receive and I did because because I did find them helpful.

poppy12345: They are no longer available due to the "Daily Mail" brigade getting a price ceiling cap imposed. Because disabled people shouldn't be having flash cars at the tax payers expense supposedly, especially when Mr. Jones next door can't afford anything more than a Ford Fiesta. However the same turn a blind eye to company owners claiming VAT relief on their £80k Range Rovers which are for business use only, yeah right of course they are.0

But these flash cars have really high advance payments. My husband mobility car is due to be swapped and he picked the Vauxhall combo because the boot is ideal for putting a mobility scooter in, in one piece any way. The advance payment is £3000 for a petrol version. So he had to go for the diesel at £349. I know that the flash cars have higher advance payments but the combo is definitely not a flash car.
Dont know any one who could afford the advance payment like that on benefits any way.

kimp22: Not all recipients of the mobility award are on means tested benefits.0
