Nov NSD 9/15 I managed to not spend on Sunday but was out at a gig last night and also a friends birthday Saturday, which turned out to be a big one so there was non stop flowing champagne at hers til 4am.. So Sunday I was a bit useless but a lot of fun was had. The uber home was the most expensive thing..
I always like the 21st of the month as that is when I get my HMRC pension contributions paid into my SIPP, most is automatically reinvested as I have mainly accumulation funds but as I do buy ETFs often there is not enough to buy a whole new one so I get to decide where I am putting the excess.
Due to the markets coming off a bit, I was briefly over £30k in my SIPPs (my end year goal) but it has dipped below by £150 at present so I will be adding to that to top up on my next payment of an invoice.
Trying not to think about replacing my Apple watch as I dropped it last year and the screen got cracked, it works but I cant really wear it.A friend has one and I miss having it with all the functions especially fitness. However I was running an extra iphone with it so I either need to buy an android watch - which are super cheap at £50 the Huawei ones at least or switch phones from android back to iphone and that extra expense... so I will hold fire on the apple watch this Black Friday.
I am buying that freezer though. I can see basic ones for £159 to £179 so I guess it will be where I can get cash back.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

Sold some of my Son's shares that were doing badly on the back of our "conversation" - and bought a small holding of Retirement 2050 on his behalf. Quick and yes late December month update as socialising, shopping and work as well as hibernating where I can in this cold weather.
Hope all are well.
My free fridge /freezer is now set up (from my neighbour) - it turns out my 2 shelf freezer in my retro designed fridge managed to hold exactly the same as 3 drawers in the more standard size full height Fridge freezer. Plus my retro fridge area is huge in comparison.. who knew!
I am just defrosting my old fridge freezer for a good clean and then I will be keeping vegetables, ice, GF bread and cooking ingredients stuff in my old freezer as it is in my kitchen and all else can stay in the other one.
I can't go on a mad bulk buy as it turns out I have loads of stuff in my freezers - so only YS frozen stuff and frozen veg ONLY to buy to get stocks down a little.
I had a cunning plan for a veg drawer, a meat drawer and my ready to go batch cooked drawer but too much in there right now to be that organised.
End Nov figures

Nov savings £5309.93 / £3,603.01 - I smashed this goal as got 2 invoices paid Goal £2,252,81pm
SIPP 11/08/21 £26,644.38 30/12/2021 £29,186 as markets had fallen
Grocery Challenge
My bulk grocery fund is great but my £140 grocery challenge for Nov took a hit when I did some shopping for end Nov and Dec dinner parties - so next year I will know to pre budget for that.
Dec
Waiting on main invoices to be paid but I have made £900 in last 5 weeks in MB + Casino offers so that has been added to SIPPs and House savings. Yet to move more money over but this is where I am as paid a load of bills but I am waiting on some bigger invoices to thus do my tidy into the various accounts. I am lucky I can afford to have saved £1000 plus floats in my bank accounts.
My programme is nearly ready so that should be out next week - I do work and keep procrastinating, then starting agai but I refuse to go into 2022 without it being available to buy. No clue who is buying it but we will get there and be wonderful to be able to report sales. I am making title and book cover decisions.
Lots of casino and Xmas MB offers but it does take up time .
I have a monthly budget as always but added extra £200 for xmas food and drinks etc

oops 3... my maths is out still..
That 80k deposit + moving costs by end Dec goal will be done..It is a huge amount of money £80,000 - I have never had so much sitting in various accounts but I am aware I need to spend £450k to £500k really on something I want to live in in London...
I am sure I can get to £81k by end Dec if people pay me .. So I will review then for 2022.
£100k by June is next goal so 19k in 6 months = £3166.66 savings per month - ouch but could be doable but will really will need to be selling programme and ignore the siren call of my SIPP and free HMRC contributions and limit spending and travel.

My kitchen fridge-freezer is similar to your aspiration - I have one meat, one veg, one cooked (the latter combined with cheese) and the fourth is ice cubes, a wine bottle collar, ice cream and a bag of frozen crumble mix and some prepared apples and blackberries - that is in the kitchen. I have meat, veg, fruit and bakery products in the chest freezer and homegrown veg and fruit in the pig-shed.
You do very well with MB. I keep thinking I should and then I am too busy. Maybe 2022.
I was going to say that you might like the "Save £12k in 2022" Challenge which will be up imminently. I am in this year's (and several previous) but your challenge amount can be more of less than £12k and it's a bit of mutual reporting and encouragement. slowlyfading runs it. @Suffolk_lass You are a miracle of freezer organisation!
I am suddenly aware thanks to my elec meter how an extra fridge freezer takes my daily usage to over a £1/day (also with heating on).. So I am trying to eat down the second freezer before I go away for Xmas so I can turn it off and just run one...
At least I got it for free! I did thus stop myself buying some YS meat the other day as I have more than enough to get me to pre Xmas ad probably into mid January.
@savingholmes I am doing it seems an extra half day a week on this restructure stuff but we will see into the new year,
I have the chance to go for free as a plus one on a 5 day Rhine cruise this weekend as my friend has just split up with her partner - he got very possessive, stalkerish and aggressive ...
However cos I have a work dinner that I really do need to go to it would mean I would fly out one day late to the cruise and try and catch it somewhere up the Rhine by 2pm the next day. The pcr tests look not too expensive but it is a lot of rush and covid travel issues. I really want to go but think best I dont, plus I have a lot of social events this weekend I would have to cancel. If I could have flown out day one ... hmm, got til tomorrow to decide as will need to get fit to fly sorted..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
