TallGirl said:Sounds like you are all set for the dresses it is so nice when you can replica something that is worn out I want to do that with my yoga pants to get them long enough and the cross over waistband.
Hope you find what you are looking for and if you do that you can chose and not end up buying far too much fabric.TallGirl said:Can I win a house in Denmark please? One with a large utility room, ensuite and walk in wardrobe plus an outbuilding to create a party room.
Yes can I add walk in wardrobe to mine .. hmmWatty1 said:I would like to win a garden makeover please! Very specifically I would like that makeover to include weeding and cleaning and resanding patio 1, repointing and restoring patio 2, replacing all the paths, creating a daisy lawn and filling one bed with pink shrub roses and a blue flowering salvia and then something inspirational in the other 3 beds.
Oh and is it too cheeky to ask to win a block paving drive? As well?Baileys_Babe said:I would like to win a complete makeover of our outdoor spaces. I would like the style to be sympathetic to the setting, both the age and style of our house and the ancient woodland we back on to. I need it to be lowish maintenance and supportive of wildlife. I would like a year round garden with a variety of places to sit and take pleasure in the garden. The paths need relaying and the stolen flags replaced and outside taps fitted along with water butts. I would also like to win the support of a mentor to help me make the most of what could be a beautiful garden.South_coast said:Blimey, you lot don't want much, do you 🤣 Making me glad I have no garden (or stairs)!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

My phone that I chose as a prize instead of the bbq arrived today very fast so I will pop on ebay .. its brand new in an unopened sealed box soShould get £220 i reckon - will update
on Foxholes diary she mentioned this v tasty faux lox stuff - made from carrot and I had something similar a few years ago so I am planning to try her found online recipehttps://www.loveandlemons.com/carrot-lox/
Back in London just - had a great family dinner and had a money off voucher as well
Busy London weekend ahead - got course this weekend in the days, then Gay Pride tomorrow plus friends 40th tomorrow night ... and seeing other friends after in Soho ....
Money argh .. a low point
Had a small amount paid of invoices from a smaller client and have been promised loads from 3 other clients - 2 lots should arrive Monday ... but none arrived today .. so rather than pulling money from my 7% cov acct my mum lent me a small amount (a few hundred) as have so many bills going out on the first inc rent and I had to pay the cc as well - the previous months balance so to ensure no interest charges .. I have 90% of what I need but still...
I have not had to borrow money in decades from anyone !!! (to be fair she insisted rather than me pulling cash out of locked savings) but still its insane.. I am now on the cc float (but paying no interest at least) as using that money to cover the rent.
I have had a lot of work to do this week but Monday I am getting on the software coursework, and updating this CV - I have had enough of dipping into my savings.
Luckily YNAB kept me clear on when all my dds go out but ...
GOODWILL PAYMENT £50
Had a nightmare returning an amazo* prime thing - 8 online chat agents over 5 days... kept saying we will contact seller and every time they didnt give details of issue and seller wasnt reading messages properly .. So the 3 rd time the seller did not respond. argh ...Luckily by Wed I had resorted to Twitter .. and the online SM people gave me another route to complain - they said also to give seller another 48 hrs to respond (the 3rd chance) to rectify .. which they did not so I wrote asking for a refund and got one in full . Plus still got the item.. I tried to return it but seller being difficult and no address so ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

Started July Grocery challenge with a bang as I got off the bus from my first EMS session by a Morrisons - I had bought a £10 gift card to get cash back offer in Feb .. so found the email and my £23 shopping miraculously came to £13
plus I did the zip zero 4% cb
i don’t normally shop there but my local
lidl closed
enjoyed the first ems session but tired after
saw 2 flats as well - neither quite right
I loved the Japanese knotweed flat as had period features light filled and beautifully done so finding one I like as much will be a stretch - still not in a position to get a mortgage as need 3 months of the income so ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I'm changing my would like to win as I've not seen a Garden Makeover competition but I have seen win a horsebox competition and a new horsebox is on my vision board (mine is old and the MOT man has been muttering a bit at the last two sessions). So I am going to enter and I would like to win!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -

MG and the 'wealth corner'
15 plus years ago I had a feng shui expert to my old apartment - and of course bar the odd crystal have forgotten largely about it and the 'bagua'
However someone has won a few things since clearing up her wealth corner - - stand at your front door and its the far left corner of your home... and equally the far left corner of each room as you stand in the door way...
So looking at my home wealth corner (mostly my main bedroom - there is definitely some clutter tided away - a cute chest of drawers with largely unused makeup in there, a second wardrobe and large chest of drawers with lots of unworn clothes in there .... You get the picture...
The left corner of most of the rooms of my house is not great either for clutter...
So I have cleared 9 things v quickly from toiletries in the bedroom I will never use - but need to do a proper look in the drawers etc - it looks tidy from the outside but .... sometimes its old lipsticks I love but never use ... or eyeshadows of colours I never really use...

On the feng shui.... I always place a money tree in the south east window to bring in wealth. I also place a citrine crystal in the furthest north west of the building. Can't really recall what for but have done it for years but you saying wealth corner would make sense...I also have another money tree there too. Always keep these spaces decluttered too and I place lavender outside my front door and jade inside the door to attract wealth, good health and abundance of all sorts.
Since my friend moved I went into her house with some moving in gifts and gave her a money tree I grew from a baby leaf off my mother one and some crystals (she thinks me mad but went along with it 🤣) and she's attracted a new job and won at the bingo four times 🤣🤣
I helped my friend manifest a man into her life. We emptied out cupboards of junk in her bedroom and left them empty for space created for the perfect partner. And put rose quartz onto every side in there, bedside tables and shelves... coincidence or not she found the perfect partner 😁
I'd like to add to my vision then...we are buying a doer upper (all we can afford) so I'd like to manifest the money to do it up....60k ought do it 🤣 I can picture the perfect kitchen, nice new bathroom, a games room...oh yes that would do nicely 😁MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
