Which apps do you find useful on Apple Watch as I mainly use app for running or taking calls but if I could use it for something else that would be great.Anyone can learn to sing better it’s about training your ears
on Apple Watch I use
the timer - for cooking and hot spot tidying
- controlling my iPhone music playing
- city mapper app so I can see directions on my watch
- having had my phone snatched once I think it’s far better to have your watch showing you directions or instead of getting your card out using. The wallet
- telling the police where to go as you see your phone stolen and where it is
- I have my credit card on there and have an account with TfL so I can just flash my watch on buses and tubes
- controlling music thru it
- love the pic gallery though currently going thru the snoopy dial
- find My phone app for when I misplace it
- various training eg swimming and skiing calories burned
- variable heart rate
- the noise hearing warning
- what’s app messages
- camera remote is so useful on taking group shots
voice memos on my wrist is useful if have an idea
- plus some specific work related appsDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I don’t suppose that you know by any chance how to turn exercise to zero in the health app? Or is there a reason to have at 0?

@skint_spice that is such an important job. Thank you for your needed service to such an important part of the community. You are an angel or as we say in Buddhism a bodhisatva.
I will note Buddhism also teaches one to not exhaust yourself too much - when one has such a giving spirit full of compassion for others, often such people forget about looking after themselves
I use my apple watch also to play musical statues /pass the parcel as well - which can be fun for all ages.. and on the watch you can move easier around the room and be more subtle.savingholmes said:Not surprising your amber warning beacon is going off.

I have been very clear on the hard lines on this side hustle - its a rather unexpected dilemma but I normally work with v professional people and in this case I think not. Either way my side hustles will grow with or w/out them as long as I do work to push myself..
Creatively -
I have been playing with music software for fun as part of a class and due to treating it solely as fun and playtime including creating samples of live audio and then playing that into a rhythm .. .. I have created something the teacher has proclaimed mad but brilliantly groovy and he loves it.. and the 2 friends I played it to insisted i played it about 10 times as they danced to it over and over and insisted i send them a copy - v early version but I will go back to the same class next year and carry on ... its a free class and all the software I can use at college for free so... good use of downtime, fun with no expectations of doing anything with it - just the joy of creating
although knowing me I will do something with it
SPENDING £16 yesterday
bought some lights, couple boxes Roses as gifts and some cards at Mr T yesterday.
Oh and £1.25 sweets .. argh - I didnt have dinner yesterday cos of college and work before so grabbed pack of sweets as hadnt eaten in 5 hours - i was heading to a dinner party but it is easy energy calories so I can see in me tracking my junk is that I pick crisps and sweets when I have missed my dinner due to being out. I eat super well at home but its hard to eat out well and frugally when one is gf df..
I didnt eat them all - I am finoshing them off today as I type whilst waiting for my friend to text when he is ready for us to meet this eve..
Knowledge is power, and seeing my patterns this week of grabbing crisps Wed after a carol service, and then sweets thurs - all about getting food in. I need to get back to carrying healthy snacks with me
Food
I was also so busy yesterday I ended up not cooking my HF as for some reason picked 2 fiddly dishes - i didnt want to cook for 45 min in the middle of my work day wfh ... so I made up a GF penne dish where I cooked up leeks and peas, fried up some of my roast chicken and mixed all with harissa paste and the cooked gf penne with extra oil and herbs .. Gorgeous and had some today.
I need to strip chicken and make a stock for freezer.
I will come under on my grocery spend this month though will end up buying food stuff inc the FR turkey for my parents for xmas..
Next year I will ensure I dont steal from my own xmas fund ...ynab will be sternly watching me ...
So I still have 2 lots of HF meals to cook
I also got a further £5 voucher from them as the delivery driver did not knock as they are all instructed so i complained via twitter
Brazilian food yum especially Pan de Yuca
A friend had a Xmas gathering yesterday and made some incredible food - all df, gf, sugar free
These cassava flour cheese type balls. so moist - wow Pan de Yuca - so worth trying if you want to google a recipe
A bean and meat stew with various toppings inc pork crackling, chilli and spring onions - amazing again
Plus 3 desserts one with almond flour and one rice flour. ..
So good.. drank til v late with her so I was a bit slow this morning
I was meant to do my normal traditional cooking for xmas - for my friends but December ran away with me.. and I have a busy few days ahead .. but I will cook something in January for friends.
I am trying to get home to spend a decent few days with my parents - mum has been ill, dad has been ill, Dad says mum doesnt seem herself ...
Stocks markets
My Sipps are up £1500 from the end of Nov with this rally and my s&s isa £900 up.. I dont count them til the EOM but nice to see in ynab my NAV bouncing up.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

My pensions are happier too.
Trust your gut on the clients - perhaps apart from the ones with cashflow issues where they've gone on for over a year so at some point.... You need to replace them with more consistent payers to meet your goals.
The sweets were an essential at that moment in time stop beating yourself up.
