Vodafone BB, how are they nowadays?

I'm looking to replace my current Sky Superfast BB, I've never actually had Vodafone previously but I know they've not always had a great reputation. Have they improved in recent years at all or are the complaints isolated issues? I only receive around 43Mbps here although that's fine for our purposes and daytime calls are minimum. How is their router? Is it easily replaced if needed?
