Sky account not on credit files?

Hi.
I recently got into some bother with sky (had a debt with them dating back around 2 years ago).
the account still shows a balance when I log into it, but it’s not on my credit file at all but it did used to be, my details are up to date there, number, address etc, but have received no form of contact from them.
I once spoke to them and asked for my CRA (I think it’s called?), they were very hesitant to give me this, and never replied to the email or phone calls.
does this mean they are no longer chasing the debt?

No.
Typically if a debt was showing on your credit files and it vanishes, it's because it's been sold and it'll return under the name of the new owner. Is it not showing under your closed files?
And which product was this because I've had Sky TV for 3 years and it's never been reported to the CRAs and research suggest broadband doesn't either,0 -
Nope, it was complete removed around 18 months ago, never come back under anything, also never received any letters/phone calls etc, it was a mobile phone product.p3ncilsharpener said:No.

Nothing is reported to the Consumer Credit Act. What are you referring to?Mikej92 said:

I had Sky since around the year 2000 - recently cancelled it - it was never on any of my credit files. Maybe as I joined a long time ago - but are you sure it was on there to start with?0

Yes, it was definitley there as it was a credit agreement for a mobile phone.cymruchris said:I had Sky since around the year 2000 - recently cancelled it - it was never on any of my credit files. Maybe as I joined a long time ago - but are you sure it was on there to start with?1 -
Plenty of people here https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Account-Billing/Sky-Mobile-not-showing-on-my-credit-report-after-2-years-who-can-rectify-this/td-p/3671435#:~:text=Every month, your device payment, lending credit or preventing fraud. saying it's never been reported even though they claim that they will report Sky Mobile accounts. It doesn't mean they're not chasing it, they wouldn't wipe it from your files just because of that.Mikej92 said:

Either the debt has been sold or it's a glitch.0 -
