I assume you have entered the single word and then selected sort by newest?
If so, then try, click discussions at the top, then on the right side of the page, scroll down and un-check the Polls box, then click Filter. Do you now get full results sorted in date order, newest first?

I don't understand why the search function does not work properly in comps board. If I click on the red search icon next to the page numbers, it says 'search competition time' but when I put in what I want to search, it searches all the forums. 

MSE please can you explain why this is broken and when you will fix this? Thanks
