    Yup, but in theory you could leave it set up. It might just be easier to get an outdoor socket properly wired to the end of the garden, it'll cost a bit more but will be safer, neater and without any kind of length restriction.

    If you're getting a new install, you usually get a certain length free (usually 5M, I think) then every M after that is charged extra.
    So you're not buying the whole 20M per se.
    Weight isn't an issue, most people go for a tethered cable permanently wired to the charger and then just leave the wire dangling or whatever (with a holster for the plug).
    It's not like you'd be permanently humping it around like a fireman hose.
