Thank you for all your replies.
Firstly it is definitely the official site, on a mobile the address doesn't always show in full.
See screenshot of this site.
Although I am actually a smit smeller.
I cannot now find the bag anywhere other than fake sites, the official site has now removed the bag maybe there has been a few more complaints..
https://www.michaelkors.co.uk/
is the site I purchased from.
See screenshot of order..
Think I will just take the 20% although the post was originally about getting an exchange.

As we're now well into August most sales are coming to a close so it's more likely that they've simply sold out - especially as the bag was discounted by about 70%.Toyah14 said:

You could try looking at Furla as they always sell pale pink bags in the summer.1 -
Unless you agree with the OP that this is an outlet version in which case the original retail price was never £375 but MK is one of several brands that falsely sell specially made items for the outlet space quoting the figure of the full fat version. Cannot say my interest in handbags is sufficient but one brand for suiting does a similar trick but the outlet is probably less than half the manufacturing cost (fused interlayer rather than full canvas, much cheaper material, plastic rather than horn buttons etc).68ComebackSpecial said:

I personally wouldn't be surprised if the differences were greater than just the zip... I'm fairly sure its Mulberry that grades the skins and lower half go for outlet and upper to standard retail and thats before looking at the hardware etc.1 -
💯% my thoughts.Sandtree said:

I would expect most shoppers will just have seen the marked original price and the discounted price and believe they've snapped up a bargain. I certainly wouldn't have investigated further re hardware etc if I was purchasing from the "official" site, though I'm aware that it is a brand which is often "copied", sold at outlet stores and offloaded at TK Maxx. Not a brand I would personally ever consider buying as their styles don't appeal to me and (sorry OP) they're a bit naff.Sandtree said:

It was all about the bag not the price, it was just what I wanted...i have brought cheaper and more expensive items and usually they are as described, I looked at reviews on other sites (ebay/amazon) and people were complaining about the plastic zip....hence me double checking and ordering from official site.68ComebackSpecial said:

Put it this way I won't be ordering from them again. I will be adding to my naff brands.0 -
If it matches your outfit and you're happy with the further discount then it doesn't sound like a bad compromise. You probably won't give it a second thought in the excitement of the day and I'm sure you will look fabulous. Enjoy!Toyah14 said:

P.S. I wish I hadn't looked at the Furla site as I'm now trying to talk myself out of a half price "bargain".2 -
