Evening allSpent the morning moving furniture around - I THINK I am happy with the result - while OH went to help DD with her allotment.Dog walkQuick clean / tidy aroundMade a rice pudding to use up cream just past its date. Won't eat it today, as we have rice for main course.Load of washing done and dried on the line. It is actually sunny today!Leftover roasted vegetable tart for lunch. Made coleslaw with various wilting vegetables, to go with it. Also cut some lettuce from the garden. Home grown tomatoes and cucumbers too.My brother appeared (haven't seen him for ages). He brought some ham from the staff shop where he works, and asked OH to cut his hair for him (no hairdressing skill involved, just run over it with the clippers). Actually loads of ham, so I will give DD some of it.Working in the shop where I rent my sales unit this afternoonLeftover risotto from last night for dinner. I think I have all the bits and pieces of leftovers under control now!2

Back for another year. Apologies for being MIA but I'm back at debt-busting!
Thanks for starting the thread @carrielovesfanta and I hope your house guest gets the signal soon enough. I can feel the awkwardness from where I'm at. :lol
Little things to kickstart my week:- Check online banking and spending
- Update diary and review budget
- Tried to book extra shifts but I think I missed the boat on booking - so put myself oncall instead
- Focus on decluttering and reselling (hopefully)
- Signed up for a survey site to earn extra pennies - fingers crossed.

Morning all,
@jadewest94 lol, I'm really not a good host or house guest!! We've even got rid of the bed in the spare room and its now dh's office as he's still wfh due to covid.
Todays list
* check banking and update spreadsheet
* make pf's stroganoff - a great meal for using up mushrooms that are always at the back of my fridge
* exercise at home - no gym subscriptions for me now. Today I'm going to do some fitness boxing and then a walk later (the weather looks like its going to be a wet one!)
* a bit of decluttering to do, going to start in my wardrobe and then hopefully the boys.
* going to make fishcakes for lunch to go in pitta's as we've got lots of leftover mashed potato.
Thats about it. Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Set up a Payment Plan with Barclaycard (spent 45 minutes on the phone to them on my dinner in work so didn't get to eat)
Put a load of washing on
Grabbed some pizza from sainsburys and managed to get a bargain of some kebab skewers at 79P as they go out of date today
Left to do today
Put washing away
Empty dishwasher

Evening allToday's small things:Dog walk first thingUsual quick clean / tidy round (as opposed to 'proper' housework)Folded clean washing and put away. Also put items away that OH had stuffed into the airing cupboard.Fed all the plants that needed it in the back gardenFridge shrapnel for lunchGave my basil plantation a haircut and made 3 pots of pesto for the freezerCleaning up after pesto making (messy business, lots of olive oil involved!)Picked some berries for tomorrow's breakfastCovered blueberry bush with some fleece weighted down with clothes pegs as a cheeky blackbird was flying down and stealing the berries even though it is right outside the back doorLeftover curry for dinner - made some quick flatbreads to go with it rather than rice. Not spent anything - ought to pay the milk bill though, so that won't last. Only £4.50 by the looks of it though!2

Same here @jadewest94!Not much done today as I worked from 10-4. Difficult day, with a couple of particularly annoying customers (though most are nice) who hung around for absolutely ages, and a colleague who is ok in small doses - only 6 hours without a break isn't a small doseAnyway, dog walk doneBerries from the garden for breakfastTook salad mostly from the garden to work for lunchOH cooked tonight. It wasn't great, but at least I didn't have to do it!Had to spend today, online to replace a part of one of my stock items lost by one of the annoying customers - but at least it was a business spend that I can record against tax, rather than a personal / household one!Early night I think, and hope for a better day tomorrow!2 -
