These services require the phone to be on and connected to a network somewhere, and won't work if the thing has ran out of juice.Re: the £30, it says on the website "Take advantage of our Premium offer for only £1.00 for 72 hours. At the end of the 72 hours and without termination on your part, the subscription will be extended without any commitment of duration at the rate of £29.90 per month."
