Happygirl66 said:At a Hotel?? Really??Here in lies the problem, I can't believe people still don't realise that the motorist with their traceability has become such a target. Also budget hotels especially near town centres and airports nearly always make up their budget pricing by car parking charges.

Please do comment on the Government consultation above. It is to introduce a new Code of Practice.
The numerous letters that you have received by multiple agents would not be allowed if the debt collectors were regulated. This new CoP will ensure some regulation. Hopefully the need for these parasites will greatly diminish.
Also write to your MP and the MP of where the Travelodge is located. Jenni-D has written a letter that you can use but please add comments about using multiple debt collection agents as that would not be allowed under the FCA and you would be able to complain. At present there is no regulator to curtial their activities. They can hassle vulnerable people. It must stop.

The Travelodges have some strange arrangements with parking operators. These are not always communicated very well to guests upon arrival.
We have seen wedding parties receive tickets when they have been told there was free parking.
Could you say where the Travelodge is so that we can take a look at the signage please?
