I would like to go green, but the work and cost involved will be massive.

My electricity supply would be inadequate, especially once I have an electric vehicle charging point installed, so that will need upgrading.
The gas boiler will need to be replaced, obviously.
The microbore plumbing will have to go, which means pulling up the floors upstairs.
All the radiators will need to be replaced with better ones.
I will probably need a new radiator added to the living room (it doesn't have one at the moment).

And that's in addition to updating the insulation.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
