Lime plaster makes for a very good hardcore layer if/when you do a patio. It compacts down real nice - Done two shed bases with the pile I've generated.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

We are planning a large summer house to be converted into a gym and a patio, We just need to see where the sun hits etc.
With the size of the garden we may need 2 patios if i'm honest.0
