When EDF took over GNE they offered me this,in writing

Your current tariff ends 31 January 2029 – that's in 2738 days.

Your current tariff ends 31 January 2029

Your monthly estimated energy cost is £54 on your current tariff

They now say,to get out of it ,that it was a mistake .

Where do I stand ,what rights and options do I have?

How does one get an answer, from the main man,Martin himself?

martin sold this site many years ago and has no longer got any relationship with it.

It's a clear mistake.  People and companies are allowed to make mistakes.  Your tariff will end when it's supposed to end, whenever that might be (and almost certainly not in 2029.)

People are fond of saying Martin has nothing to do with the site and they may be quite right but at the top of the page there is not only his picture but something that says he is the Chair.

If you want Martin's team to even consider your complaint you are better with his ITV show.

If you want sensible advice on this forum you already have it, a tariff lasting for 8 years is an obvious mistake.

Even when he did own this site, do you really think he spent his days reading the forums?

It's like expecting Richard Branson to come round and fix your broadband (or believing that he actually owns Virgin Media).
