BA - vouchers to cash?

Hi everyone,
I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't easily find the answer on the forums (please don't hate on me for creating a new thread). Grateful for advice or others experiences.
Like a lot of people, we had flights with BA when coronavirus hit in March 2020. BA cancelled our flights and issued vouchers which we used to book another flight with them. That second flight was subsequently cancelled and BA issued more vouchers.
Our plans have now changed to the point where we won't need those vouchers in the future..... I think we probably "applied" for the vouchers at the time as it was a bit of a mad rush to ensure we had something and didn't lose out.
Is there anything we can do to force BA to provide a cash refund for the flights that were cancelled? Or have we already missed that boat by applying for the vouchers? I would argue that plans have changed so that a voucher is not an adequate form of refund for us....
Thanks in advance.
