Nationwide Building Society has begun issuing ‘dot and notch’ embossed and recycled bank cards that are certified by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). What’s people’s thoughts I know some people love a good debit card thread 😂

It's a shame they've not gone for flat numbers. The card looks nice enough otherwise.0

Is the nationwide flexplus card changing too?0

Not the best design as rear flat print and portrait would have been better - holographic Visa is better than the big flying pigeon too.
The embossed thing seems to be on the way out generally.
Nationwide have definitely lost their edge.0 -

The card looks to cluttered and as you point out would have looked a little better in a portrait design.I guess the RNIB tried and tested means it had to look like this to help partially sighted and blind people tell which card is which.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
At first glance on the back I thought this was a charity card (spending on it raises money for a charity). RNIB certification would have been better in the supporting material than on the card.

The new Lloyds Cashback credit card has the notch too, so I think it's safe to assume LBG's brands will all head in that direction eventually.
