Did any part of the sunday take place? if not, I think you are due 100% refund of ticket cost but not the fees, which are rarely refundableLearner2021 said:/\ No I was not. I imagine the only people there were those who booked weekend tickets, not day tickets0 -
I would write to them requesting a full refund. State if this does not happen, then you would not be prepared to drop it, but would be contacting bbc watchdog with your storty. And provide the bbc link.

I would also add that you would also consider contacting 'this is money' and other organisations.

75% off the ticket value seems pretty reasonable given that festival was still running on Sunday until about 5pm when the rain came in and they had to cancel. You still had a full day of festival activities and acts that were on before the bad weather (acts started from 9:30am on the Sunday morning)0

I don’t recall the full terms and conditions of the insurance when ordering the tickets; however, for a cancelled event I would expect a 100% refund, including the booking fee.

Any/all advice gratefully received.
Thanks
Perhaps have a look at your emails for the T/C.
But as the event was stopped @ 17:00 & only called off @ 21:20 then there was the vast majority of the day available to you. As such a 75% refund is a win win situation.Life in the slow lane1
