@TonySimon thanks Simon, who did you switch to? I’m thinking if Logicor don’t contact me and I’ve not had a new contract/communication regarding going into a variable tariff where would I stand if they tried to backdate it?

Hi.  I went with Green Energy UK.  They may have closed to new applications now.  Good luck with Logicor, the tariff rate was good while it lasted.  If I hear anything from them, I will update here.

What do you mean with backdate?

The moment your fixed tariff ends you are automatically on the SVT if you do nothing.

Hi, so it's been over a year and my contract is coming to the end with Logicor (A great cheap fixed tariff for a year that I wasn't expecting to last but they did). Is anyone still with them on this thread? I've only ever received 2 bills from Logicor, I submit a meter read every month and I don't hear anything back so just want to see if anyone with Logicor has had any correspondence recently?
Hi.  I received bills sort of random fashion.  I sent in a reading about once a month too.  The bills I got would say Quarterly bill but some only covered a month and others covered 4 months.  To be honest as they were so cheap I avoided making contact too much as I assumed they had very little staff.  Ive just left a few days ago.  I was paying 15p per day and 15p per unit of power.  Now paying 45p per day and 38p per unit I think.  I've not had a final bill and I noticed they did take a DD Payment a few days ago even though I am no longer with them.  I will give it a few more weeks (I think they are allowed about 6 weeks to produce final bill).
The Final Bill timing rule (6 weeks from the supply transfer date) is an Ofgem requirement which could result in an automatic compensation payment if they fail to issue a bill.

Just spoken to a gentleman at Logicor on the phone as I'd requested by email a balance statement on both 3rd and 11th August but had not had a reply. They said they'd do one for me and send an email (I have my own records/calcs and am well in credit but want to hear it from them too).
As my fixed tariff is up mid Sept and I had heard nothing I asked what was going to happen when it expired. The "pricing team" is working on new rates he said and these should be announced "next month". Until then I'd stay on existing prices until that time. Then I could decide to stay or go depending on what they offer. I also get the impression as TS said that they only have a small number of staff.

@manorman Thanks for your update. Will be interesting to see what the pricing team come back with as I'd be expecting to just go onto the price cap. Also the fact they said you would stay on the existing pricing until they work on the new rates would be good if they stick to it.

@manorman did you get the e-mail last night with the new fixed rate they are offering? It's quite attractive.
  • Hi Liam..sorry only just seen your post. No I got no email from them. In fact my 1 yr fixed contract ended midweek and I haven't yet heard from them at all. Guess they'll offer something around 34p p u now?

Morning, looks like Logicor might finally be next to go. They’ve had a final order placed against them by OFGEM for failure to meet their RO requirement and need to pay “£377,444.00, plus any accrued interest, by no later than 31 October 2022.”
