ALWAYS check with your current Supplier before switching energy.

MSE's Energy Comparison is very good & arguably the best available however their algorithm can't & doesn't allow for any "special" New Tariff your current Supplier may be offering.
MSE's Comparison came up with some very cheap alternatives but when I checked with Avro, my current Supplier, their New Tariff if I stayed with them was the cheapest by far.
Caveat Emptor! :-)

And especially important for this section of the board, make sure you tell the supplier you use Oil or LPG.

@Roscow - you have inadvertently posted in the LPG section rather than Energy. You are not the first and won't be the last as MSE show no interest in redesigning this part of the forum.
I suggest you revisit the comparison sites - particularly Switch with Which and Citizens Advise and select all suppliers - there can be better tariffs there than Avro customers services don't know about . Just be very careful and use your actual annual consumption figures from your own records - avoid any estimated readings.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
