I’m sorry the post was not complete I wanted to know has anyone complained and received any good outcome the people at optima legal are not nice at all and have delayed my mortgage for no fault of mine. The customer service has been awful0

i have complained about Optima in the past. I complained via the lender who chose them for free legals and we got a payout to cover the clients losses due to delays optima had caused. I didnt have to do much beyond call my bdm and moan a bit so im not sure on what success you'll have directly complaining to them.

If you're not happy with the service provided by your lenders' solicitors, complain to your lender. Little point directing it at the solicitors, they get paid peanuts by the bank and provide a service commensurate with their fee.0

So many unhappy customers also complaining on google reviews. They likely do not have capacity for their workload.0

Are you able to share your complaint letter so I and others can use it as a template?
I am going through a similar process with Natwest / Optima Legal and paying SVR on my current mortgage with no fault of my own.

Two months into my remortgage process with Optima Legal that was through Halifax and Its yet to complete. It is hard to reach anyone at Optima Legal and when you do it’s the customer service people who tell you that they will leave a message with case handler to call back in response to the query raised. Still yet to receive that call. Poor service or lack of it and very slow moving not sure why Halifax recommended I go through them. I am at a point where I will be raising a complaint with legal ombudsman service by the end of this week. Very frustrating and I advise people take action if they are in a similar situation.0

Our Halifax remortgage through Optima ran very smoothly and without a hitch.
We started the process 6 months prior to the remortgage date to give them plenty of time to get the paperwork in order at their end.
The remortgage went through on the agreed date with no problems.0 -
I've had the misfortune of having had to use them twice, once for a home remortgage and once for a BTL remortgage. Absolute !!!!!! service both times, !!!!!! systems and impossible to contact anyone that made any sense. The only reason I had to use them is because the bank did not offer a cashback option or else I'd have taken the cashback, used a fixed price conveyancer and had some cash left over. That's always my first preference and what my broker always recommends too.0
