Thermostatic Radiator Valves

Hi

Could anyone possiby give me an indication of how much it would cost to supply and fit 8 TRV's. Is there a broad range of the type and quality of these valves that would affect the cost? If so I assume some must be more advanced than others?

TVRs start from about a fiver upwards. £10 would buy a good one, better made and wont break! They are easy to fit yourself but expect to pay about £20 ish each for fitting.

We recently had 10 radiators fitted with these valves by a friend of a friend. The valves cost £11.50 and the total was £210 including fitting and a subsequent goodwill visit to check on any problems. What a difference to our comfort! Because the original thermostat was in the coldest part of the house, the hall, the heating got triggered, whether we needed it anywhere else or not!
We are now nicely warm and not overheated and don't feel that heat is being wasted anymore. Hope this helps.
